Today we meet a girl who loves horses, and we get to understand better as to why she is fighting against wild horses being round up in America.
"Horses are beautiful animals, they have so many capabilities and it is not fair to take advantage of them, and to kick them out of their natural habitat to make room for human industries."
We asked her what the government are doing to the horses after they have been captured, and she told us this: "They are using helicopters to scare the horses into a certain area, where they sell them as 'rescues'. They do this because they use the land for farming, and the way the horses are being treated when they are being sold is outrageous. Many horses get injured without medical attention, where they develop infections and sometimes die."
When questioned on how we can stop this, and how she is doing her bit to try and stop this, she tells us that she has started a website raising awareness for horses being treated this way, and she hopes that people follow her lead until the government halt their vicious actions.
"My website is called msha.ke/horseblog. I hope you visit it and try to take action against this horrible abuse. These wonderful animals deserve better."
She tells MyDay that she hopes this interview will raise awareness.
Hello there
